Hydroseeding

Need a slope stabilized or a lawn installed? Hydroseeding is the solution. 1/4 of the cost of turf and two times more likely to successfully germinate than hand seeding.

If we install your residential irrigation system and hydroseed at the same time you get a discount on both!

We use a commercial hydroseeding machine which allows us to spray any grass or pollinator seed you choose. Price is dependent on several factors; if the area is irrigated, slope and seed choice.

Irrigated

We have several lush seed blends we can recommend if your yard has a sprinkler system. These blends are more ornamental and generally less hardy than our standard mix.

Need an irrigation system? We install professionally designed Rain Bird Irrigation systems

Non- Irrigated

Our standard mix is Warne Chemicals Farm Lawn mix. A hardy mix that once established does not need irrigation to provide an excellent lawn.

Pollinator Gardens

We can run annual or perennial pollinator mix through our machine as well. Create a beautiful wildflower garden and provide forage for pollinators.

Establishment Irrigation

Even with mixes designed for dry land planting watering is essential for the first 30-60 days, if you want a well established lawn quickly. You can leave our dry land mix non-irrigated, however your germination rate will fall and it will take two or three seasons to establish its self naturally. This is an excellent option for road ditches and reseeding areas disturbed by excavation.

Typical Irrigated Hydroseeded Lawn Establishment

1-2 Weeks

Germination. Small blades of grass appearing randomly throughout the seeded area

2-4 Weeks

Patchy Establishment. Patches grass with areas yet to germinate.

4-8 Weeks

Thin coverage across the area.

8 Weeks +

Full coverages that will will continue to get thicker though out the season. Time for first mowing!

No Sprinkler System? No Problem!

Don’t feel like trampling your freshly seeded lawn to move your hose and sprinkler multiple times a day? We have portable 4 and 6 zone watering systems that you can rent for the establishment period of your lawn.
